Frequently Asked Diamond Questions

Do more facets make a diamond more brilliant?

Do more colours make a painting more beautiful? It is not how many colours but how they are displayed that make a painting beautiful. Likewise, it is not how many facets are on a diamond but how they are arranged that make it truly brilliant.

Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Heinrichs Jewellery has a policy of only purchasing conflict-free diamonds. Every diamond Heinrichs purchases follows the United Nations endorsed Kimberley Process which was designed to halt the flow of conflict diamonds.

Do Canadian diamonds cost more than others?

Not at Heinrichs Jewellery. We are fortunate to be able to purchase Canadian diamonds directly from the cutters and in large enough volume so as to avoid having to charge any premiums.

Are Saskatchewan diamonds available?

At the moment Saskatchewan diamonds are not available to the public. However, Heinrichs Jewellery being a Saskatchewan owned and operated company, is excited and following the prospect closely.

Are diamonds a good financial investment?

We encourage you to look at a diamond's value not in a monetary sense, but rather look at each as an individual piece of art. We encourage you to find the one that will be the enduring symbol of your love for generations to come. That being said, over the last 25 years the average 1.00ct diamond went up in value over 83%, with larger sizes increasing even more.*
